Intense Pulse Light Treats redness caused by facial vessels & Hyperpigmentation
IPL removes age spots, most benign brown pigments and redness caused by broken capillaries. This is done through a process called photo-rejuvenation. IPL, also known as BBL or Broadband Light, works by emitting pulse light energy. This energy is absorbed by targets in the skin like pigmented or vascular lesions. This light energy is absorbed by either the undesired capillaries or melanin.
The treated tissue from the Intense Pulse Light treatment is removed through the body’s natural healing process and results in a more even and youthful appearance. Intense Pulse Light can be used on the face and body and will result in a more even skin tone.
