Under the direction of Megan McFarland, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, Wells Plastic Surgery & Skin Care upholds a patient-centered philosophy and a longstanding legacy of clinical excellence.
Megan plays a central role in shaping the vision, culture, and standard of excellence at Wells Plastic Surgery & Skin Care. She oversees both the clinical and operational direction of the practice with expertise, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to exceptional outcomes.
Megan was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and has received the highest academic honors in nursing. She graduated summa cum laude from Post University, where she earned her Master’s Degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner program, and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Northern Kentucky University.
In addition to her clinical and leadership roles, Megan serves as faculty for the Kentucky Association of Aesthetic Providers (KAMAP). She is also an active member of national organizations, including the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses (ISPAN), the Plastic Surgical Nursing Certification Board (PSNCB), the Aesthetic Care Team Affiliate (ACTA) Institute of Aesthetics, The Aesthetic Society, AlliedPro, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Susan Meers Wells, MS, RN, CANS
Cofounder of Wells Plastic Surgery & Skin Care, Susan Meers Wells, MS, RN, CANS, is a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist and Galderma National Trainer who brings decades of hands-on expertise and a legacy of leadership to our practice. A nationally recognized educator and industry expert, Susan continues to provide individualized patient care while serving as a mentor to the next generation of aesthetic professionals. Her ongoing presence ensures clinical continuity and upholds the foundational values of the practice.
As a senior member of our nonsurgical aesthetics team, including the Wells Sculptra Center of Excellence, Susan performs a wide range of injectable and energy-based treatments. She is widely known for her meticulous, holistic approach to patient care, carefully evaluating each client’s lifestyle, medical history, and goals to develop customized treatment plans that promote long-term results.
Susan holds a Master of Science degree as a Plastic Surgical Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of Missouri–Columbia, where she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. A pioneer in the field, she was the first nurse injector in Central Kentucky and among the country’s first Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialists (CANS). She also participated in the original national think tank that developed the CANS certification requirements and exam.
Susan is the former President of the National Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists and currently serves as Co-Chair of The Aesthetic Society’s Annual Skin Care Symposium. She has held faculty appointments at three colleges and was honored as Outstanding Undergraduate Faculty by the University of Kentucky College of Nursing. Her expertise has been featured in publications such as W Magazine and The Lexington Herald-Leader, and she has lectured internationally on organizational nursing, medical aesthetics, and advanced injectable techniques.
Dee Montgomery
Dee is the Practice Administrator and Surgical Coordinator at Wells Plastic Surgery & Skin Care and also serves as the Surgical Coordinator for Dr. Sara Soni-Kalma. She is your primary point of contact for surgical pricing, procedure scheduling, and navigating financing options through CareCredit, Alphaeon, and PatientFi.
As Practice Administrator and Office Manager, Dee manages daily operations, oversees staff coordination, and ensures a seamless patient experience. She also develops and manages the Wells Online Store, maintaining the same level of service online as patients receive in the practice.
Dee’s background in both medical and interior design fields gives her a meticulous eye for detail and a talent for creating a warm, welcoming environment. Her leadership ensures that patients receive exceptional care from consultation through surgery and recovery.
Ashley Kohari, DNP, APRN, FNP-C
Ashley is a highly regarded member of the injectable team at Wells Plastic Surgery & Skin Care. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Kentucky and brings extensive experience in medical aesthetics, perioperative care, and acute patient care.
Her aesthetic expertise includes advanced applications of dermal fillers, neuromodulators, laser therapies, and microneedling (with and without radiofrequency). Known for her integrative, patient-centered approach, Ashley designs comprehensive treatment plans and provides injectable services that thoughtfully align patient goals with facial anatomy and evidence-based best practices.
Ashley’s clinical precision, collaborative nature, and dedication to excellence complement the Wells philosophy of individualized, elevated aesthetic care.
Rachel Hamilton, LE
Rachel Hamilton, LE, is a pioneer in medical aesthetics and one of the first licensed aestheticians in Kentucky. With over 23 years of experience in medical-grade skin care, Rachel is widely recognized for her expertise, innovation, and dedication to patient-centered care.
Early in her career, Rachel trained under renowned dermatologist Dr. Joseph Bark and played a key role in launching one of the region’s first medical skincare centers. She is highly skilled in advanced skin rejuvenation technologies, including laser modalities and Genius® Radiofrequency Microneedling, and offers customized treatments tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Rachel is deeply committed to building long-term, trusted relationships with her patients. She approaches care with intention, creating individualized treatment plans that align with each patient’s goals, lifestyle, and resources. Her signature treatments are restorative and results-driven, helping patients achieve healthy, radiant skin.
Missy LeSaux, RN
Missy brings a wealth of experience and a calming presence to her role at Wells Plastic Surgery & Skin Care. As a Perioperative Nurse & Surgical Coordinator, she prepares the operating room and ensures all instruments and equipment are properly ordered, stocked, and organized for each procedure. She also provides attentive support to Dr. Soni-Kalma and patients, helping each surgical experience run seamlessly and safely.
In her role as Surgical Coordinator, Missy guides patients through every step of their surgical journey. She provides personalized education, coordinates scheduling, and communicates clearly before and after surgery to ensure patients feel fully informed and supported from consultation through recovery.

Chandler McFarland, RN
Chandler is a skilled Aesthetic Nurse & Skin Care Specialist at Wells Plastic Surgery & Skin Care with a background in neonatal intensive care and a growing passion for aesthetic medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kentucky. He began his career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at UK HealthCare, where he gained invaluable experience providing high-acuity care in a fast-paced environment.
Chandler now performs a wide range of elective aesthetic treatments, including injectable procedures, Genius® RF Microneedling, lasers, and energy-based devices. He combines evidence-based practice with a personalized approach to achieve natural, confidence-enhancing results tailored to each individual’s goals.
Known for his friendly, approachable demeanor and meticulous attention to detail, Chandler provides safe, refined aesthetic care that patients trust.
Chelsey Wallace
Chelsey is the welcoming face of Wells Plastic Surgery & Skin Care and serves as our dedicated Patient Care Coordinator. She is often the first point of contact for patients, ensuring each interaction is seamless, personalized, and reflective of the elevated care our practice is known for.
With a strong background in patient relations and administrative support, Chelsey coordinates consultations, answers questions, and manages the scheduling of aesthetic services and procedures. She works closely with the team to ensure clear communication and to help patients feel informed and supported throughout their aesthetic journey.
