Dr. Henry G. Wells

Dr. Wells is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery and the prestigious American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He completed his plastic surgery training at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1984 and was an Assistant Professor of plastic surgery

there until returning to Kentucky in 1988 to enter private practice.

Dr. Wells has held leadership positions in the Fayette County Medical Society and the U.K. Medical School Alumni Association.In addition, he has been on the board of the Susan Komen Foundation of Lexington and is a past president of the Kentucky Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Wells has extensive training and experience in all areas of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. However, he is best known for surgery of the breast

Susan Meers, RN, MS

Susan manages the skin care program and provides many of our nonsurgical services. She is the current president of the National Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialist

s and is faculty for the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons Injector Certification  Course for physician extenders. She received her masters degree as a plastic surgical clinical specialist at the University of Missouri-Columbia was the first nurse injector in Central Kentucky.

She draws on her two decades of care of plastic surgical patients to develop customized treatment plans to help patients achieve their desired results.

Carisa Searcy, Practice Administrator

Carisa Searcy is our Practice Administrator and works hard to keep everything running smoothly.  She brings years of experience, critical thinking, and has a creative edge.  This translates into great patient care and works to overcome obstacles to ensure that we can offer exceptional service to all of our clients.

Mandie Van Wormer, CNA

Mandie Van Wormer is the Surgical Coordinator

for our office and assists Dr. Wells with all of his patients. She graduated with Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Brigham Young University and has a Certified Nursing Assistant license. She is our surgical manager and patient educator, and is very knowledgeable about our procedures and patient care. In our office she manages our Facebook page and assists with graphic design. She has also worked as a makeup artist and enjoys teaching makeup application.

Tonya McCoy, Aesthetician

Tonya McCoy  is a licensed Aesthetician and massage therapist who has practiced as a medical skin care specialist for over two years. She is active in the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists and has been published in their national newsletter. Tonya not only provides non-invasive skin care services such as Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels, Facials and Acne care, but she also manages the Laser Hair Removal and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) programs in our practice.  She particularly enjoys interacting with patients and assisting them on their journey to reach their skin care goals.

Christi Barber, Receptionist

Christi is our front office cooridinator and will be the first person you meet when you call or come in to our office. She graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing. Christi was the 2010 organizer for Team Wells at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, in Lexington, KY. Christi brings great energy to our practice and works hard to keep the office running smoothly and on schedule.

Gina Fielding, Skin Care Coordinator

Gina is our Skin Care Coordinator.  She comes to our office with many years of experience in retail sales, cosmetics, and makeup artistry.  If you have met Gina you know exactly why we all love her so much.  Gina manages all aspect of our skin care practice.  She also manages our social media marketing and promotions.  Gina has organized our recent Lunch and Learn events, which have been as successful as they have been fun.  If you have any questions about our products, promotions, or upcoming events this is your go-to girl!
